Haven and Palm takes up residence
Haven and Palm Organic Skin co have opened their first store, taking residence inside Plunge Forster with a range of natural skin care products made right here on the Barrington Coast.
Sacha is obsessed with safe skin care and has developed a range of products that have been flying off the shelves at Plunge. You may recognise her, as she has been a regular at Plunge since we opened and held a stall at the True Colour Market run by Blue Dust Collective at the Fairways over summer. We first met Sacha when she popped in with her children to grab a coffee and over many cuppas and convo’s, quickly discovered we were a match made in community heaven.
Like the Plunge family, Sacha is aware of the high exposure to chemicals through food and beauty products on a daily basis that our bodies can be subjected to. She wanted to offer a safe solution for your body and makes eco conscious, vegan, organic products by hand that feel and smell divine. I can vouch for this, as during my pregnancy my skin needed extra attention and after a few days my skin felt hugged by her creations.
Your skin is the largest organ on your body and it is porous, so it will absorb what ever you put on it. If you want to avoid putting toxins in your body, start with your skin and feed it beauty products that do not compromise your health.
We are overjoyed that Sacha is taking up residence at Plunge, you will find her in the corner near the palm trees where Darlings of August was. Pop in and say hello, find lip balm with natural flavours, body mist with botanical aromas, nourishing body balms to keep those winter hands rich. Haven and Palm co emulate a life in the slow lane that is environmentally conscious and we couldn’t be happier to join forces with Sacha.
